To Leslie

Leslie (Andrea Riseborough) is a single mother in West Texas who won the lottery and drank through every dollar of it. Years later she has no money, no place to stay, and a town that has stopped believing anything she says. Then Sweeney (Marc Maron), a motel owner, offers her a job, and she has to decide whether to take it. Michael Morris, in his first feature, stays close on Riseborough's face and lets her do the work.
