To Rome with Love

“Romance! Adventure! Hilarity! Italy!”

Jerry (Woody Allen), a retired opera director, spots a chance to revive his career when he hears a mortician with a remarkable voice. Woody Allen runs four stories through Rome at once: the architect John (Alec Baldwin) meets a young man whose romantic troubles echo his own youth, a young couple drift into separate flirtations, and an ordinary man finds a spotlight on him. Each story is about wanting to be seen, whether by a lover, an audience, or a city.
