Tomboy

“There's a new kid in town.”

Laure (Zoé Héran) is ten, and she would rather play football in a T-shirt than wear a dress. When her family moves to a new neighbourhood, Lisa (Jeanne Disson) takes her for a boy, and Laure lets her, giving her name as Mickaël. Céline Sciamma follows the long summer afternoons of playground games and a first kiss, with the school term coming closer and Laure holding the lie together.
