Tommaso

Tommaso (Willem Dafoe), an American filmmaker in Rome, goes through his days with Italian lessons, a recovery meeting, and shared meals with his young wife Nikki (Cristina Chiriac) and their 3-year-old daughter, DeeDee (Anna Ferrara). The routine holds only so long, and the jealousy and restlessness he keeps carrying start to crowd the apartment. Abel Ferrara, drawing on his own life in Rome, shoots it close and unhurried, so the dread builds quietly.
