Tommy Boy

“If at first you don't succeed, lower your standards.”

Tommy Callahan III (Chris Farley) has barely scraped through college when his father's sudden death leaves the family auto-parts factory in danger. To save it, he hits the road with Richard Hayden (David Spade), his father's tightly wound assistant, to sell brake pads to anyone who will stop and listen. Peter Segal keeps the two of them crammed in one car and lets Farley and Spade work off each other like old friends.
