Tomorrow We Move

Charlotte (Sylvie Testud) sits down to write erotic fiction, though she has no sensual experience to draw on. Her mother Catherine (Aurore Clément) is moving into her apartment, and Chantal Akerman keeps the comedy in the clutter of two women sharing a space too small for either. The film treats desire and daily annoyance as the same ordinary material, and a person has to live with both before she can write them down.
