Tonight and Every Night

(1945)Directed by Victor Saville92 minMusic, Romance, Drama
“The screen's first dramatic musical”

Every night the bombs fall on London, and every night the curtain at the Music Box goes up anyway, a Soho music hall that has vowed not to miss a single performance. Rosalind Bruce (Rita Hayworth), an American showgirl with the company, meets Squadron Leader Paul Lundy (Lee Bowman), an RAF pilot, and Victor Saville builds the numbers around their courtship. She keeps dancing, because the show has to go on and the chorus line needs her.
