In a small South Korean village in 2004, a pharmacist named Choi Hee-cheol (Gang Dong-won) is trusting enough to be taken in by almost anyone. Joo Young-ju (Kim Ha-neul), a professional con woman, turns up and becomes his fiancée overnight, a job that was supposed to be routine. Bae Hyeong-jun leaves the two of them standing together in the pharmacy, the village around them.
