Martín Naranjo is a Mexican-American master chef and widower who has lost his sense of taste but still cooks a feast for his three daughters every Sunday. Carmen (Jacqueline Obradors), Leticia (Elizabeth Peña) and Maribel (Tamara Mello) each arrive at that table with their own plans for leaving it. María Ripoll directs this remake of Ang Lee's Eat Drink Man Woman, and Martín keeps cooking, still hungry for the people he feeds.
