Total Recall

“Get ready for the ride of your life.”

In 1990s Earth, the construction worker Quaid (Arnold Schwarzenegger) cannot stop thinking about Mars, so he pays a company called Rekall to implant the memory of a vacation there. The procedure goes wrong, and the people he thought he knew start behaving like strangers, including his wife Lori (Sharon Stone). Paul Verhoeven shoots it fast and loud, with practical effects that look like real plaster and rubber.
