Totó in color
What is new here is the color itself: this 1952 comedy was the first Italian film shot in Ferraniacolor. Totò plays Antonio Scannagatti, a musician who is sure that his composition "Epopea italiana" will sell to Tiscordi, one of the most important impresarios in Italy. Steno sends him out with a sleeping-car signorina (Isa Barzizza) and a stuttering tenor (Vittorio Caprioli) in his way, and Antonio keeps going, score in hand.
