Totò, Peppino e i fuorilegge

Antonio (Totò) lives in a small town in central Italy, and what he wants is to stop depending on his wealthy, tightfisted wife Teresa, who keeps him on a short allowance. Peppino (Peppino De Filippo), the town barber, is the friend he turns to, and Camillo Mastrocinque sets the two of them loose in the streets together. Antonio keeps reaching for a little independence, and each reach has to go past Teresa first.
