Toubab

Babtu (Farba Dieng) comes out of two years in prison wanting only an ordinary life with his friend Dennis (Julius Nitschkoff). His welcome party ends in a police raid, and he learns he faces deportation to Senegal, a country he has never lived in. Florian Dietrich follows the two men as they try to beat the order by whatever means they have, and the film keeps asking who gets to belong in the place where you grew up.
