In a Los Angeles recovery center, Juvenal (Skeet Ulrich), a former Franciscan novice, starts healing people with his hands. Bill Hill (Christopher Walken) and Lynn Faulkner (Bridget Fonda) both see what a miracle worker could be worth, and the press arrives to make him a sensation.
