Touch of Pink
“Playing it straight is about to get very complicated.”
Alim Jahan (Jimi Mistry) has put an ocean between himself and his conservative Muslim mother, so when Nuru (Suleka Mathew) turns up in London for a surprise visit, he and his boyfriend Giles (Kristen Holden-Ried) scramble to make the flat look straight. Ian Iqbal Rashid also gives Alim a ghost, Cary Grant (Kyle MacLachlan), who drops in with advice on how to act. Under the farce is a plain question of what a son owes his family, and what they owe him.
