Tough Enough

Neukölln, in Berlin, is where fifteen-year-old Michael Polischka (David Kross) lands after moving there with his mother Miriam (Jenny Elvers), in a neighborhood much poorer and rougher than the one he left. Detlev Buck follows Michael through school and the streets, where the boys around him are delinquents and he is easy to pick on. The film is about power and weakness, and how quickly a boy with nothing behind him learns which side of that line he is standing on.
