Tough Guys Don't Dance

“A love story haunted by murder.”

Tim Madden (Ryan O'Neal) wakes in Provincetown with a tattoo he doesn't remember, blood all over his car, and a woman's severed head in his weed stash. He has to find out who set him up before anyone else decides it was him. Norman Mailer, adapting his own novel, follows Tim through the town's corruption, where the closest thing he has to an ally is Madeleine Regency (Isabella Rossellini), whose husband is the police captain.
