Aloysius "Trader" Horn (Harry Carey) is an old hand on safari in unexplored Africa, traveling with his partner Peru (Duncan Renaldo). They come upon the body of the missionary Edith Trent (Olive Carey), and they decide to finish what she started, the search for her lost daughter Nina (Edwina Booth). W.S. Van Dyke shot it on location in Africa, and Horn and Peru keep walking through the dry grass, hats pulled low.
