“No More Vegtables, No More HomeWork, No More Cleaning up your room...”

Elizabeth Martin (Anna Chlumsky) and her brothers Jeremy and Harry have had enough of their mother (Sissy Spacek), who they decide is far too much work. They learn of a spell that sends them to the mommy market, where a more user-friendly model is waiting to be picked out. Tia Brelis adapts her mother's 1966 book, and Spacek plays every version of Mom the kids try on.
