Traffic Jam

Nobody can say what stopped the traffic on the Rome highway ring, only that it has not moved for hours and shows no sign of starting. Dr. De Benedetti (Alberto Sordi) sits in his car among strangers, among them Irène (Annie Girardot) and Carlo (Fernando Rey), and Luigi Comencini links their cars into one story. Past the thirty-sixth hour, each of them is a little less the person who first turned off the engine.
