Trail of the Pink Panther

“The Newest and Funniest 'Panther' of them all.”

The Pink Panther diamond has been stolen again from Lugash, and Chief Inspector Clouseau is sent for from France, but his plane vanishes on the way. The TV reporter Marie Jouvet starts interviewing everyone who knew him, among them Sir Charles Litton (David Niven). Blake Edwards builds the search from old footage of Peter Sellers, shot before his death, so if Clouseau stays lost, the film has no one left to carry it.
