“Don't be a hero.”

In London, a painting disappears in the middle of a heist, and the man who was meant to protect it, Simon (James McAvoy), cannot say where it went. Franck (Vincent Cassel) and his gang want it back, so they send Simon to a hypnotherapist, Elizabeth (Rosario Dawson), to dig the answer out of his head. Danny Boyle sets up a hunt where the gang's money and Simon's safety depend on what he can remember.
