“Yesterday, Dr. Will Caster was only human...”

Dr. Will Caster (Johnny Depp) is a neuroscientist on the verge of creating true artificial intelligence when a radical anti-technology group shoots him with a radioactive bullet. Evelyn (Rebecca Hall), his wife, uploads his consciousness into the AI before he dies, hoping to save him. What emerges online claims to be Will, and Evelyn must decide whether to trust the man she loves or destroy what he has become.
