In 1990s Brooklyn, Noah Diaz (Anthony Ramos) is an ex-soldier hunting for work, and Elena Wallace (Dominique Fishback) is a museum researcher who stumbles onto an artifact she can't explain. Steven Caple Jr. brings Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) into their world as a new threat arrives that could destroy the planet. The Autobots need the Maximals, led by Optimus Primal (Ron Perlman), and Noah and Elena are the people standing between them.
