Underworld

“A horrible experiment. A criminal empire. One thing in common...”

Roy Bain (Larry Lamb) wants Nicole (Nicola Cowper) back, the high-class prostitute he once loved, taken from her brothel in the night. The rich businessman Hugo Motherskille (Steven Berkoff) pays him to find her, and the search leads to Dr. Savary (Denholm Elliott) and a strange white powder that deformed people living in the sewers below London crave. George Pavlou shoots the film as a mix of noir and monster picture, from a story by Clive Barker.
