“Sail the high seas of adventure again!”

A treasure map turns up in the possession of young Jim Hawkins (Jackie Cooper), and Captain Flint's buried fortune is suddenly within reach of anyone willing to sail for it. Victor Fleming sends the honest crew out on a sailing ship toward a remote island, with Long John Silver (Wallace Beery) among those aboard. Jim, a boy no one has ever trusted with much, finds himself pulled between Silver's warm talk and the men he is supposed to be loyal to.
