Jim Hawkins (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is a restless drifter until he inherits a map to Treasure Planet. Captain Amelia (Emma Thompson) and Doctor Doppler (David Hyde Pierce) recruit him for a crew, but the ship's cook, the roguish John Silver (Brian Murray), has plans of his own for the fortune. As they sail toward the treasure through asteroid fields and nebulas, Jim must decide whether to trust Silver or protect what the crew stands to lose.
