“The Worms have turned.”

Earl Bassett (Fred Ward) saved the town of Perfection from the Graboids, and the fame lasted about as long as it takes to say so. Now a Mexican oil company is paying him to come south, because its workers have found Graboids burrowing under the oilfield. S.S. Wilson sends Earl and his young sidekick Grady (Chris Gartin) out after them, with Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) and his guns not far behind, and the ground stays soft under every step.
