“Blood is a brutal bond.”

Chad Cutler (Michael Fassbender) wants a different life for his two kids than the caravan one his family has led for generations, poaching hares and robbing stately homes across the English countryside. Adam Smith films the Cutlers as a loud, close, dirt-under-the-nails clan, with the police always one step behind. Chad's father Colby (Brendan Gleeson) still runs the family by his own old rules, and Chad cannot leave him or fully obey him.
