Achilles (Brad Pitt) fights for no king and no flag, only for the chance that men will still say his name long after he's dead. In 1250 B.C., Paris (Orlando Bloom) sails home to Troy with Helen, the Queen of Sparta, and Agamemnon (Brian Cox) sees his chance to gather a thousand ships. Wolfgang Petersen sends Achilles to Troy, where being remembered is the only thing he has ever asked of a war.
