True Mothers

After a long run of failed fertility treatments, Satoko (Hiromi Nagasaku) and her husband Kiyokazu (Arata Iura) adopt a baby boy and name him Asato. Six years on, Satoko has quit her job to raise him, and the family lives quietly until a stranger arrives at their door. Naomi Kawase moves between the present and the years before, and Satoko is left holding the boy's hand.
