Trust Me

“Sometimes, you trust the wrong person.”

In a Brazilian restaurant kitchen, Mari (Fernanda Machado) is a gifted chef who cooks under an authoritarian boss, and her talent shrinks a little more with every order he barks. Then she meets Caio (Mateus Solano), a charming young man who tells her to trust herself and open a place of her own. Michel Tikhomiroff, in his first feature, keeps the tension tight and the pace slow, letting the unease build.
