Trust the Man

“Men play the game. Women know the score.”

Rebecca (Julianne Moore) is a New York actress who works constantly, and her husband Tom (David Duchovny) is the stay-at-home dad who has stopped wanting her. Her younger brother Tobey (Billy Crudup) keeps putting off any real commitment to his girlfriend Elaine (Maggie Gyllenhaal), who is trying to write a novel. Bart Freundlich follows both couples as they go looking for the part of falling in love that they know they once had.
