Try Seventeen

“You're only seventeen once. For Jones Dillon, it's one time too many.”

Jones (Elijah Wood) skips college and rents a room in a boarding house, where he plans to spend his days working on his writing. Soon his time splits between Lisa (Mandy Moore), a young actress, and Jane (Franka Potente), a photographer, and Jeffrey Porter lets each friendship pull him a different way. The room stays small, with a desk, a stack of pages, and a boarding house that Jones is still learning to call home.
