Turn Left, Turn Right

John Liu (Takeshi Kaneshiro), an aspiring violinist, wants to meet the person he is sure he was meant for, and so does Eve Choi (Gigi Leung Wing-kei), a translator who lives in the same Taipei apartment building. Johnnie To and Wai Ka-fai follow the two of them through parallel days that never quite touch. Every morning one turns left and one turns right, and the chance to meet keeps slipping past.
