Twixt

“Between the living and the dead, evil is waiting.”

Hall Baltimore (Val Kilmer), a washed-up horror novelist on a book tour, wants one more story worth writing, and a sleepy town with a string of eerie murders hands him one. Francis Ford Coppola puts him in dreams where a ghostly girl named V (Elle Fanning) appears and Edgar Allan Poe (Ben Chaplin) acts as his guide. The title names the space between the dream and the waking world, and the story Hall chases there leads back to his own buried guilt.
