Two Bits

“You're never too old to believe in a dream. Or too young to make one come true!”

On a hot summer day in 1933, twelve-year-old Gennaro (Jerry Barone) wants a ticket to the new movie theater in South Philly, and the quarter that would pay for it sits in his grandfather's fist. Gitano Sabatoni (Al Pacino) won't let go of it, because he has unfinished business with a woman from his past and needs a boy to carry his message. James Foley sets the whole story on one street, where the old man holds his last two bits tight and the boy waits beside him.
