Two Cents Worth of Hope

Carmela (Maria Fiore) is a young woman who has caught the eye of Antonio (Vincenzo Musolino), and now the families want to know what he can offer. He needs steady work and a dowry to match hers, with his mother (Filomena Russo) and the village priest (Luigi Barone) watching. Renato Castellani, in the third of his Young Love films, treats love as a luxury a poor couple can only afford once the money is found.
