Two Days, One Night

“A quest for self-improvement”

It is a Friday in a working-class Belgian town, and Sandra (Marion Cotillard) has two days to keep her job. Her coworkers have voted to take their bonuses instead, so she goes door to door asking each of them to give theirs up, with her husband Manu (Fabrizio Rongione) beside her. Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne follow her on foot from one doorstep to the next, with no score and a camera that stays close.
