Two Friends

Clément (Vincent Macaigne) is a shy actor who falls hard for Mona (Golshifteh Farahani), a woman serving a prison sentence who spends her days out on work release. He asks his easygoing friend Abel (Louis Garrel) to help him win her over, which means Abel is in the room when she starts to look at him instead. In Louis Garrel's debut as director, the friendship is what sits on the table, with Mona still guarding a past she would rather keep shut.
