Two Monks

Javier (Carlos Villatoro) is a monk who wants Juan (Víctor Urruchúa) dead, and in a Gothic monastery he goes for him with a heavy crucifix the moment he sees his face. Both men then tell their own account of the rivalry over a woman that brought them there, and the accounts do not agree. Juan Bustillo Oro frames the monastery in hard shadow and tall stone, the two monks small beneath its arches.
