Two Weeks Notice

“Over. Done. Finished. A comedy about love at last glance.”

Lucy Kelson (Sandra Bullock), an environmental lawyer, takes a job with the billionaire developer George Wade (Hugh Grant) so his company will spare a community center. George cannot settle on a decision without her, and she hands in her notice and finds a Harvard graduate, June Carter (Alicia Witt), to replace her. Marc Lawrence writes the two weeks that follow as a slow, bickering tug between a woman who is leaving and a man who keeps finding reasons to need her.
