“We're in the gym at midnight, we're in the eye of the typhoon!”

A typhoon is closing in on a junior high school, and six students are still inside when the weather turns. Shinji Sōmai follows the days before, during and after the storm, with Rie Takami (Youki Kudoh) and Kyoichi Mikami (Yuichi Mikami) among the kids marooned in the building, teachers gone and the doors shut against the wind. When the storm passes, they will have to go back to being children, and none of them is sure they can.
