“In the grim darkness of the far future there is only war.”

Captain Severus (Terence Stamp) leads a squad of Ultramarines who want to answer an Imperial distress call from a Shrine World. A full Company of Imperial Fists was stationed there, yet no one on the planet is replying, so the squad goes down to find out why. Martyn Pick animates the mission in a dry, hard-edged style that holds Severus and his men back from saying how worried they are.
