Amanda (Sandra Oh) wants one thing from her life on a remote American farm: to keep it quiet, and to keep her daughter Chris (Fivel Stewart) close and safe. Then the remains of her estranged mother arrive from Korea, and Amanda starts to fear she is turning into the woman she left. Iris K. Shim sets it on the farm, and Amanda stands by the open box of remains, afraid of what is looking back.
