Uncle Buck

(1989)Directed by John Hughes100 min · PGComedy, Drama, Family
“He's crude. He's crass. He's family.”

Why would a family in a crisis call on Buck Russell (John Candy), a slovenly bachelor who has never kept up with anyone's schedule, to mind three kids? The Russells are stuck without a sitter, and he arrives to take charge of Tia (Jean Louisa Kelly), Maizy (Gaby Hoffmann) and Miles (Macaulay Culkin). John Hughes sets a man who can barely run his own life against a house of children, and his relationship with his girlfriend Chanice (Amy Madigan) is on the line too.
