Uncle Drew

(2018)Directed by Charles Stone III103 min · PG-13Comedy
“Grab your squad and go.”

Uncle Drew (Kyrie Irving) is an old man in a flat cap and thick glasses who still plays like he owns every court in the neighborhood. Dax Winslow (Lil Rel Howery), a streetball coach who needs a team for a tournament, talks him into getting the old crew back together: Big Fella (Shaquille O'Neal), Preacher (Chris Webber) and Lights (Reggie Miller). Charles Stone III builds the picture around the five of them trading jokes between games.
