Uncle: The Story of a Man

Cevahir (Ufuk Bayraktar) leaves his village for Istanbul after his exasperated family sends him off to work for Seyfi (Turgut Tunçalp), who owns a coffeehouse there. Uğur Bayraktar follows the young man into the city's nightlife, where he gets pulled in among the toughs who run it. Cevahir is brave and quick to take the side of anyone treated unfairly, and his bond with Hatice (Gizem Karaca) is where the story keeps its tenderness.
