Under the Tuscan Sun

“Life offers you a thousand chances ... all you have to do is take one.”

Frances (Diane Lane), a writer and professor from San Francisco, signs on for a tour of Tuscany after a hard divorce and ends up buying a run-down villa in the countryside on impulse. Audrey Wells follows her as she starts fixing the place up, one room at a time. The people around her, among them her friend Katherine (Lindsay Duncan) and the local Martini (Vincent Riotta), slowly become the household she did not have.
