Underdogs

“There's only one team this summer.”

Nobody in the village can explain why the little figurines on Amadeo's foosball table start moving on their own. Amadeo (David Masajnik) is a shy, gifted player in love with Laura, and he needs them when Grosso, the world's best soccer player, comes home to flatten the village for a stadium. Juan José Campanella sets the whole fight on a table's worth of tiny players, with Laura already taken and the town itself the prize.
